Proud East Sider and community builder.

Madison’s East Side has been my home since 2005.

Community is important to me, and I am committed to bringing people together to solve problems and do great things.

My Grandmother and Pop-Pop were able to build their own home thanks to Pop-Pop’s union job at Lukens Steel in Coatesville, Pennsylvania—so labor is the basis for the opportunities I have been afforded in my own life. I will never forget that.

I am working for a future in which workers have power, equity of opportunity is the reality, and everyone is able to live a great life.

(more) about me

I grew up in Pennsylvania, and I love the Philadelphia Flyers.

My mom is a nurse practitioner, and from her, I draw my love of reading, gardening, and cooking.

My dad teaches high school physics and is a proud union member. We’ve bantered about civic engagement—and great music—for as long as I can remember.

I am incredibly grateful for their unwavering support.

My Nan and Grandad have always instilled the value of hard work—not only in their own small business, but for the environment as well. I say that they were environmentalists decades before it was cool, and it’s true. Throughout my life (and well before I was born), they’ve worked tirelessly to preserve natural resources and prevent waste.

What they’ve taught me is central to my platform today, particularly as we face devastating impacts of climate change both globally and locally.
