Update on COVID-19 shots for young children

Earlier this week, the news that so many parents have been waiting for arrived: children under 5 can now be vaccinated for COVID-19!

As of now, Public Health Madison Dane County has experienced such high demand that all pediatric doses currently on hand have been claimed. However, you can check with your child’s pediatrician or check out vaccines.gov for availability with other providers.

In addition, Public Health has ordered more doses and will add appointments as soon as possible. You can check publichealthmdc.com/vax early next week for updated appointment availability.
